BAAC offers private and group voice lessons from beginner to advanced.

Our vocal instructors will work with students in the following areas:

  • Body as an Instrument- Energizing the whole body can be advantageous in finding confidence in the support mechanism and in singing overall.
  • Practice- Not everyone finds the same tools helpful when learning music, which is why experiment is very important in discovering what works best for each individual.
  • Focus- Staying focused for short periods of time rather than multi-tasking for long periods has shown to improve memory and learning.

We offer the following group voice classes:

Into to Vocal Performance - Ages 6 - 80
Level I - Ages 10 - 13
Level II - Ages 12 - 14Level III - Ages 14+

Show Choir

Calendar & Registration

BAAC has their own Show Choir!

A show choir (originally known as a "swing choir") is a performance group combining choral singing with choreographed movement or dance, sometimes adding a thematic element to the show.

Our Director of Vocal Performance, Aaron Syfert, leads this group.  For more information about Aaron, please click here.

  • The class meets the following evenings to work on various songs and choreography.  The cost is based upon our regular tuition schedule found in the top menu bar
  • Tuesday: Show Choir I, Ages 9-11, 5:30-6:30
  • Thursday: Show Choir II, Ages 12-18, 7:00-8:00
  • There are a few performances throughout the year both in the BAAC Theater and in the community.
